Hi, List! You also have to remember that along with that 6.1 upgrade, you also will have to upgrade your operating system. That's why it has to be done via the compactflash card. Remember, Jonathan said one cannot be done without the other, hence, the reason for the use of the two counts on the sma.
Me, personally, I can't wait until the upgrade comes out. I do not have an sma, but I don't mind paying the $399.95 just to make sure that I stay up with the times so I can be ready for the next set of changes in the following months. I'll probably get the sma after the upgrade, though.
