Dear Richard, A person used to be able to email a pdf file as an attachment and receive an email in return with the pdf file translated into text. I can't remember the address I used, and that particular address may not be functioning anymore.
If a person has a friend who has Adobe Reader 6.0 in his/her PC, the PDF file could be emailed to him or her and a text translation could be emailed to the person who needs the text file. I'm not a very experienced user of Adobe Reader, and my success percentage has ben 50-50, so I won't volunteer to be the translator, (grin). Terri Pannett, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
