Hi,

Well, I don't know if this is the proper way, it's just the way I do it. As
I write the document, I do things like double space between lines and after
periods and follow other such print conventions. if I want to translate
into text, I try to remember to use the dot four before certain braille
signs, such as the dots 3, 4, when I want to write a slash--for instance if
I'm copying recipes and want to write 3/4 cup something or other. Anyway,
then I save it as an MS word document. I've found I still had a few
oddities to clean up, before I could give it to colleagues if it was a
professional document, but it came out pretty well. I've never done
anything much with formatting, except line spacing and paragraph indenting,
so I can't help there. I use MS Word on the PC, when I want to format
documents.

Subject: [Braillenote] Translating a key word document to regular text

Hi,
How do I set things up if I want to translate a keyword text document into
regular text and have it look right. I sent my husband an email a few days
ago. It had an attachment that I had had the voicenote translate from
keyword to text. He said that it came out in a long line. Any help is
greatly appreciated. Feel free to write me off list.
Stacey
