Dean, or Jonathan, had a solution for the speech issue, posted several weeks back. There is a parameter set differently in 6.1, than in previous versions, & changing that will bring it all back the way we are used to. Unfortunately, I don't remember which parameter needs to be changed, sorry.

This may seem like a strange question, but you did install the product key first, correct? This speech thing has been mentioned before. Several people are having this issue. My issue is word corruption. Good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] Key6.1.1 build 26 and speech?

Hello List. I just received KeySoft 6.11 build 26 in the mail. I was
please and installed it immediately. I was displeased to find that the
speech was muffled, and lower than Keysoft 5.1 build 22. The speech
sounds even worse when plugged into head phones. My wife has the same
problem. I spoke with support, and they suggested deleting the
keysoft.ksd file in the dictionary folder then resetting the unit with
no keys held down. I did that with no change in the speech quality.
Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks
