My battery was already needing a recalibration because it said "guage is inaccurate" when I checked. (space with O, Space with I, a.) Thanks for the reminder on how to recalibrate the battery's guage.

Hello!

Perhaps the battery gage gets out of calibration. Do the I'm talking till my battery goes flat routine by pressing spacebar with o, spacebar with i then the letter f by itself. Let this go till the battery runs completely flat. Recharge battery! If wireless is being used a great deal, this will drain the battery faster!

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery Usage on the BN Using 6.11

Recently my wife upgraded her BN from 5.0 to 6.11. With 6.11 the battery
seems to run down quite a bit faster than when running 5.0, she
reports. The unit had its battery replaced last summer, so it's not a
question of a tired battery. This past Friday she charged it fully, and
after leaving it off the charger for two days, now Monday, took it to
work. After light use, the BN reported that the battery was critically
low. Have those of you who upgraded from 5.x to 6.11 found a difference in
battery usage, and how long you can successfully use the Braille
Note? Observations, comments, suggestions welcome.

Armand
