File attributes such as bold, underlining, italics, and many more.
The original formatting of the document may well be a thing of the past.

The first thing is that using the Mac, and whatever word processor was
used,
the file needs to be save in either plain text or Microsoft Word or
Wordperfect all for MS DOS.

Then you should be able to read the file on the Braillenote. Be for
warned,
that all file attributes may be lost.

Oh, and one other format would be Rich Text Format or rtf. This format
may
not alwayss work.

Subject: [Braillenote] question about Mac files

Hey:
I'm about to take a Spanish class and the publisher has the book in
electronic format, but its created for Mac machines. Is there a way to
convert the files to use on a P.C. and a Braille Note?
