Will,

As I stated yesterday, you can connect to the internet in this manner.

The new boards have a compactflash slot at the back of the BrailleNote. If
you have not got this, you have an old board. The old and new boards are
called Rev E and Rev HE respectively.

hi dean

i asked this question but got no response, grins
rather than use my cell phone as a modem to connect to my e mail provider,
can i:
1. connect my pac mate to activesync via infrared
2. download my e mail that way
my ethernet card dont work for some reason i thought the process would be
automatic, i think i got wrong card.
it ashame braille note wasnt usb as not everyone has serial nowadays does
the newer motherboard have usb or something?
and how do i know if i have latest motherboard?
thanks, will
