Hi Dean,

Thanks very much for checking into this.  I would think people would really 
appreciate having just that much less braille to wade through for no really 
good 
reason.   

I have a manual for an amateur radio transceiver which uses lots of special 
symbols to indicate parameters, which are required, which are optional, etc., 
and 
seeing simply the symbols themselves will make it much easier to locate needed 
information.
