These keys are on the BrailleNote QT, not on the Braillenote BT, or the
PK.
One of the problems with all of us is we tend to forget that there are
three distinct keyboards associated with Humanware's line of notetakers.
The BT keyboard, the PK keyboard, and the QT keyboard.
You don't, for example, reset a PK the same way you would either of the
other products.
Often, when individuals speak of commands, they are going to tend to
discuss the command structure and keys with which they are dealing.

So, which are they calling the function key? The space is a function
key,
the inter key is one, and so is the backspace.

You don't have a "read" key on the PK.

And, which key are you calling the read key? I've seen references in the
red
and function key a couple of times in the manual, but I can't figure
which
keys those are. When reading the chapter on the navigation keys, the PK
manual doesn't call any key read or function.

Hello Shelley:

On my QT, I go into the options menu with alt+O then press Read+I and
you
should then have a hidden menu called the support information mode
which
you can't scroll through, but there are various letters that will
activate
different functions and pull different information. To see the function
of
these letters, look in the manual under section 2.5.1
