Hi all,

Perhaps I can help clear up the confusion here.

I've left your quoted text in here, Jonathan.

(Snip, snip)

Jonathan, what Lisa doesn't say is that the basis for her assumption
is the braille label on the case of the flashcard. I went and checked
my own card case's label, and it indeed says:

KS
6.1

I discovered when I did the upgrade, that I did indeed have 6.1.1. I,
unlike Lisa, decided to just do the upgrade. I didn't pay that much
attention to the Braille Label. Lisa hasn't installed her upgrade
***because the label ***says 6.1******!!! I noticed that other people
have been complaining about this too. Now, if you sent a CD with a
print label that said Peter Paul and Mary No. 1 on it and inside there
was a CD which was clearly The Kingston Trio's album, you'd be calling
the company and burning up the phone wires. Is it too much to expect
that a label in Braille reflect what is actually in the case instead
of what used to be inside? I suggest you call up your california
folks and tell them that people who read Braille, like those who read
print, assume that what they read is accurate, and they better change
those labels, please!

Lisa, the license label is very, very small, and it is very thin. You
could have easily missed it. It was packaged in the little plastic
bag with the card. I found it after some searching. There should
have been a note in the Braille instructions explaining that this
label is small and easily overlooked. Lisa, if you haven't found it
in the bag, it's probably on the floor where you opened the little
bag. Do not bacuum or sweep until you have had someone sighted check
the floor for you.

HTH,
Ann P.
