Hi Richard, My card is a Compaq flash card that was used in the back slot. I know if you allow the BrailleNote to format your flash card, you will lose all of your data. I did not do this, but I've seen the prompt for it every so often before I upgraded to Keysoft 6.11. Luckily, I had my files available to copy back to my flash card, but I was unable to study for a test that day, and in the event that I had been working on an assignment, I may have lost all of that with all of my work lost as well.
