Hi, Sarah. But why you and not me? Did you say you lost files from your flash disk or was it a flash card left in the unit? I don't remember. If the flash disk, di you have the 48 mb disk or the 16 mb one and if the smaller one, could that have something to do with it?

Hi Paul, and List,

I am one of those people who has had trouble with reformatting issues. I
can tell you that it is not a Windows CE issue, but it is just one of those
weird computer things that happens to some people and not others. I used to
think the "cannot run this version of Keysoft" thing was also one of those
things, but it happened to me for almost no reason the other night. I have
come to believe that computer equipment, including the BrailleNote family of
products, will suffer loss of data and formatting issues, no matter what we
end-users think should happen, it's just one of those things.

Hi, Rhonda. I have never put in a flash card unless it has something on it
I want to read or listen to. I just keep everything on the 48 mb flash
disk. I think I have 26 mb left or something like that. But I wonder why
you can leave yours in and not have a problem and others do.
