Not to belabor this thread, when I downloaded my window-eyes 5.0, I knew that the cd was coming, but really didn't care when it arrived. I already had and was using my copy of window-eyes. However, when Jonathan first posted his message, he stated that some folks might have 6.1 in hand by January 31. Then we learned the next week that it was just being shipped from new zealand. Then a call to humanware found that it would not even be shipped until February 20th and that dealers and reps were the first to get their copies followed by end users. I have resigned myself that it will show up when it shows up, but I do think that a month and a half to two months is a long time to get a product to users when said product was finalized near the end of January. Some people on this list think that if we just wait for a longer time that more bugs wil be fixed in the end and we will all benefit. Not true. The product was finalized at around mid January. From that point on, it was just getting the product into the hands of end users and that will probably take two months from January 15th if you are not a dealer or a rep.
At least from here on out, most upgrades should be downloadable.

Entitlement assumes that one is expecting to get something because one

entitlement issue.
Entitlement implies that one should have something simply because one
feels that it is deserved.
On the other hand, when I purchase something, I do not feel as if I am
requesting something I deserve, rather, I am requesting something I've
paid for.

Well,
It can help in the work place and at school. I want it for home so I can
do
my Spanish online with the BN. As for why shell out the money, cause all

future upgrades will be based on the new hard wear and software specs so
you
will need to get it. Its cheaper with an SMA.
