Hi Khalid, OK, another thought just occurred to me. However, as I'm unsure as to whether it is your problem, I'm first hoping that Dean Jackson, or, for that matter, anyone from PDI who can answer my question, will post the answer. For PDI, could Khalid's problem have something to do with the KGM32.DLL file? Being the English speech driver, could the fact that it was corrupted or wasn't present in someone's unit at all affect the KeyNote synth's ability to read BRF files? I know the unit still speaks if this file isn't present, but during the time when it wasn't in my unit, I unfortunately did not open any BRF files. It seems that, although the file is set to be read as BRF and appears correctly on Khalid's Braille display, it reads with speech in Computer Braille; in other words, the synth doesn't recognize that it's BRF, so it reads the file as though it were a text file. Could this problem have something to do with the driver?
