Building Unity During Urgent Times
Join Us at IPPN's 6th National Summit!
July 11-13, 2003
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Throughout the country thousands of organizations are
organizing for peace, economic and racial justice, democracy, a
clean and sustainable environment and other human rights and
social needs. Those of us who understand that the Democrats and
Republicans are the problem and not the solution need to come
together now to strengthen our unity and determine how we can
be most effective at this urgent time.
What should the independent progressive movement do in 2004
both electorally and non-electorally? We all want the Bushites
gone; is that the only thing we should be concerned with? How
do we address racism, sexism and other negative isms while
effectively linking working-class and progressive-minded people
across lines of gender, age, culture and lifestyle? How do we
bring forward the leadership of young people and grassroots
people?
These are some of the questions Summit '03 will address.
Participate and help us come up with answers!
