I have a Silvia at home and a Brewtus at work. The steam wand will
give you more control when making microfoam. You need to purchase a
different tip for the wand though. There are multiple posts on the
subject. It is very nice to be able to steam and pull shots at the
same time. The resevoir size is no big deal, it's easy to fill up. You
would probably have to fill it every third day or so. I just top mine
off when I think about it. The tray is much bigger than the Silvia.
The transition from Silvia to Brewtus is smooth, I was pulling great
shots straight from the box. The main attraction is consistent
temperatures, and no need to temp surf. You can be foaming your milk
while your shot is extracting.
