Definitely recommend the change if your machine can handle it, made a HUGE
difference to my steaming which was always a pain before.

My boiler is still set at 1.4 bar, when I open the tap pressure will drop
down the 1.1bar and then stays there. When I close the tap takes about 10
seconds to get back to 1.4bar

I am running a five small hole tip to on brewtus at the moment.

I am in South Africa so am running a 220V machine.

I checked the Australian spec machines and they come with 2000watt elements
as standard (mine was a 1400w), I had a blown element and asked the guys
when they were fixing it if it could be replaced with a 2000watt element
and check the wire gauge to make sure it could handle the extra current,
all checked out ok without any further changes so changed the steam
element, didn't bother with the brew boiler.

Good luck, hope it works for u.

and the pressure can increase while streaming after a tank full. I am
however in South Africa so we run on 220v, I also checked the Australian
spec and they all come standard with 2000 watt elements
