I didnt comment on what you said at all. What I did was clarify what I saw in Rays comments. In reading those comments again, I think I could say to Ray that he could have been a bit more "diplomatic" also. But Ray is correct in that you could state your argument in a way that is not as inflammatory. I dont believe that it is your intent to to get folks stirred up. But your words have been interpreted that way in the past (it seems to me). It might be usefull to pretend that you are in a rough looking bar with a bunch of Biker Liberals who worship Bill Clinton, and who are between you and your Honda 125.
