Yes, one of the better-documented ones is human papilloma virus, with several subtypes causing cervical cancer. Epstein-Barr virus has been associated with a type of lymphoma (Burkitt's), although I don't recall if it's a particular subtype, or a particular human genotype that's susceptible to malignant transformation. Viral infections (measles? CMV?) are possibly related to multiple sclerosis, but there would have to be a susceptible subset of humans, or many more would have it. Using viral 'machinery' to insert correct genes to replace defective ones is another ongoing area of research. Viruses are really interesting, and a bit scary, to study.
