This was one of the great hoard of books the local Bookmans store got from somewhere. I figured there was a death and the spouse had no idea what they were worth. Several books had one or two dollar prices in marking pen on the first page. The store must have paid $1 or $2 a book. They marked them all at $15. I was buying credit at 40 cents on the dollar. So I was paying $6 a book cash value. I turned in $1,700 of credit for books I could list on the net at up to $200. Such deals are few and far between, but this is why I was joking in MUD chat about getting someone to Phoenix in Feb. I could make $500 to $1,000 off of the technical tables at the booksale. All I need is a fast walker to grab a shopping cart... http://vnsabooksale.org/ William Taylor --------------------- One of the biggest sales left that doesn't work the net. _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
