I don't know how it would work in your yard, or in your climate, or with your palate, but rosemary is a pretty and useful ornamental bush....
The biggest problem with rosemary is neither our yard itself, nor the climate, nor the palate.
The biggest problem is the threat to its survival -- a very real threat which comes in the form of a 21-months old bipedal male creature that got half his genes from me... <GRIN>
