Paxil and Zoloft, along with Prozac and Lexapro other medications of that
type are SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors).  Effexor is an
SNRI (serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor).  Those are the
classes of medications that appear to foster brain cell growth in the
hippocampus, IIRC.  MAOIs are monoamine oxidase inhibitors, and I'm not sure
if those were included in the brain growth studies.  Maybe one of the
medical types on the list will jump in with this info?
