I'd need to know more specifics. I have no objection to it, although I would not be thrilled by governments _mandating_ it either. So far as I am aware, no one is suggesting that Third World countries legally require that farmers grow golden rice - just that it be made available to them. I would describe governments mandating it as creeping nanny-state-ism, but so minor that I wouldn't get excited about it either.
