Plus I married a guy who's read only 1 Le Guin novel, and that one is it, and he likes it so much that he doesn't want to read any more Le Guin for fear of disappointment. I keep telling him he really ought to read _The Dispossessed_. (You may disagree, but you don't know him as well as I do.)
It's wierd. Le Guin's books seem to have no traction in my memory. I've
read her Earthsea books, studied The Left Hand of Darkness for a college
lit course, and even written a paper on The Disposessed, but I remember
virtually nothing about any of these books. I actually think I might have read
The Lathe of Heaven also, but I couldn't tell ya.
It's not that I dislike her stuff. It just seems to make no impression on me
for some reason.
