Squirming stats to deny Clinton credit for declining
abortion is legitimate politics so go ahead, John,
even though GHWBush pursued no policies that he even
CLAIMED could take credit for the decline and it was a
major decline and despite a blip it spanned all of
Clinton's presidency.

(What had NO blip and is absolutely creditable to
Clinton... and absolutely una,biguous... therefor
assiduously ignored by the few conservatives still
supporting Bush (e.g. John) is the eight years of
absolutely consistent declining federal (especially
non-military) share of GDP EVER single year under BC.

And the reverse trend (in NON military non-emergency
related expenses) under W.

AT which point we see the fundamental value of
abortion to the fanatics. It is ambiguous and yet
decisive. You can declare an arbitrary point of
all-or-nothing human life and disdain the opinions of
all who disagree.

Since no other value can or should rank as high as
"human life", no other consideration need apply for
neuronal space or threaten the purity of moral
indignation. The Jesus Effect. He'd be at best a
socialist if he came today in hippie hair and sandals,
but he'd drop all that and join the Coalition because
he don't like baby killers.

(Ignore the fact that God Himself, through
"spontaneous" abortions, edits out a majority of
conceptions. A hint right there.)

As for the vaunted charity to compensate, I admit it
amounts to many well-intended millions of $... toward
problems that would require many billions and bring us
back to an era of sexual slavery for women.

I trust women and they form a larger majority of
activists in the pro-choice movement than in the other
side. Just as the vast majority of those hounding
Clinton for his pecadillos were men. And when it came
to impeachment, HYPOCRITICAL men whose horrible
divorce tales made BC look like the Dad on Leave it to
Beaver.
