Then we most certainly should care if 168 million potential voters are so out of touch with reality that they really believe the world wants to see Bush reelected.

Also true. After all, Iraq *did* have WMD. They *used* them.
But did he have such a pile of them that he posed an immediate threat to the world? BushCo. claimed that this was indeed the case, and used the claim to justify war. But despite all those inspections, and despite the fact that the occupation forces have had more than a year already to look for those weapons, where oh where are they?
