workers using false names since some unfortunate incidents when
unhappy customers have tracked call-centre workers to their homes to
continue a discussion.


I've always figured all the names that customer support people and telemarketers give are pseudonyms, and not only because on the few occasions I have had to do something of the sort I have used a pseudonym . . .
