Our church recently turned down an offer to replace the enormous wooden
stylized cross atop the roof with an identical copy in fiberglass,

with cell phone antennae. The wooden cross is outrageously heavy, and
there are those who have been concerned that it would come crashing
down on us in an earthquake.
I'm not sure what the reason may have been for declining the offer to
place cell phone antennae on our roof, but perhaps it was this:
Radiation evil and must be eradicated.
