One way around the new player issue would be to make the Mixed Tours available
to non-members but if they want to compete at Mixed Nationals then they would
have to become a member.
Brand new players can't play at Mixed Nationals anyway because they have to
have played for their chosen team in a Mixed Tour event in order to qualify.
