Wayne's right, venues which hire themselves out should already be insured. I used to work for a leisure Company, we always had to factor insurance costs into out tender bids, then passed this cost on to our customers through the hire charge. If they continue to press you for this I'd go elsewhere as they are trying to diddle you and the insurance could be quite expensive.
