Despite the shock events in London last Thursday, the ensuing travel chaos and the cancellation of the scheduled summer league games – pickup games were still played on both Clisshold Park and Clapham Common that very evening in defiance of those who perpetrated the horrific attacks. A small statement, but a statement nevertheless. Many thanks to those who attended. As far as we know no Ultimate players were hurt, but that does not detract from our sympathy for those affected by the tragedies.
