I've had a couple of expressions of interest about tournaments and dates,
but I can't really give people useful advice until I know when winter
leagues are happening. Midlands say they'd prefer the second weekend of
each month; and I've heard an underground rumour that London WL are
thinking second weekend too.
Please could WL organisers get in touch with their preferred plans within
the next 7 days; otherwise I'll have to assume that everyone's using the
second weekend of the month. It'll make life a whole lot easier for me and
for the student coordinators.
Don't mean to hassle folk, but indoor halls have got to be booked early,
and we all want the best ones.
If anyone waits until december to announce a winter league that clashes
with other planned events, they'll be the only ones to blame for a
messed-up calendar.
