Welcome to the New Season!
The UKUA Outdoor season will kick off at the University of York in YORK on
the 8th/9th APRIL, 2006.
Provisional entry for this season starting event is now open...

Entry will be £150 per team. Please send cheques payable to "I Ford" to:

The Venue:
York University sports fields. Site of last years Mixed Nationals. Flat
pitches, tea & coffee, medical staff on site. Local amenities close by.
Transport:
25 Miles from leeds; 4 hrs drive from London & Edinburgh; 2 hours from
Leicester, Birmingham and Manchester; York is very easy to get to.
York is on the main train line, 2 hours from London, 2.5 hours from
Edinburgh, 2 hours from Manchester.
Nearest airport is Leeds Bradford, but Manchester airport has a direct
train to York so is easier.
Accomodation:
Accommodation is being negotiated with the University. There will be NO
CAMPING but there should be reduced rate rooms available. These will be on
a first come first served basis.
Catering:
There will be food available to purchase on site.
Entertainment:
There will be a designated party venue. More details to follow...
Entry:
We are definitely able to host 24 teams, though we hope to be able to
provide for 32 teams. Should the event become over subscribed the entry
will be decided by the Mixed Committee. Teams will need to have their
cheques in several weeks prior to the event. Exact deadlines will be
decided by the Mixed Committee. In the event of a team being denied a
space at the tournament, full refunds will of course be given.
Rostors/Rules:
The Mixed Committee are finalising this seasons rules for the Mixed
Tour. They will be posted to Britdisc asap.
2 on 2 Ultimate World Championships:
Due to the success of this event last year we are hoping to find time in
the schedule for this unofficially unsanctioned fully professional
event. Watch this space and get practicing...
