Bidding process will be in two stages:

By end of Sept please ensure you have emailed with an outline of which
tournament(s) you are bidding for, together with some basic information
regarding the bid: # of fields, location, specific venue comments, planned
price, anything else that seems important. This should enable bidders to
apply this month without having to finalise all the details. It is also
intended to make sure people who don't win a tournament don't have to invest
more time/money than is necessary.

During October we will discuss further details / ask more questions / maybe
visit the venue with a view to making final decisions by end October.

We would like to make bidders aware of the fact that in recent months we
have been approached by more than one professional events company that are
interested in running ultimate events and will be bidding for UKU
tournaments next year. Not surprisingly organisations like this are keen to
run more than one event. We have come to the conclusion that if it helps
improve the quality of our events - taking cost into account of course - we
will not discount this approach.
