look at as you develop your proposal. Here is a listing of current CAD
system coverage of STEP functionality.

The CAX-IF recommended practices provide further details. With the
BRL-CAD mentors, you will need to understand their current STEP coverage,
and what you plan to cover. The source code and some useful lists of STEP
elements are here.

For a STEP exporter, you need to validate the files conform to the schema
using something like Express Engine, or LKSoft's free IDA-STEP Viewer.
