Ok, I added blank lines to Programs/Makefile and Programs/Makefil.in,
butI still get the error. Out of curiosity what platform do you build
it on?

Thanks. When I replace my make file with yours, brltty builds cleanly.
There are only two differences between mine and yours. One is the missing |
which, since you're building on Linux, will work for sure. The other is that
mine has a blank line just above the all-api-bindings: line but, as I said,
when I build with yours I'm not getting any errors.
