I made a very simple test. I killed BRLTTY first and replugged USB-cable then. The result was that BRLTTY started and worked correctly. So, the problem is that there really are two RBLTTY's running.

I have gentoo linux with kernel version 2.6.31-r6.
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.0.2)
