Those dry yeasts are quite aggressive. You can just drop the yeast as it
is, and still get a fairly good fermentation. You get about double as
aggressive start if you rehydrate the yeast first (soak for a while in
plain water (that has been boiled and cooled), see the instructions on
the packet).
