In principle yes. If the beer is not going to be aged a lot, some times I keg it directly after the primary fermentation, and leave the keg at room temperature for those 2-3 weeks, or until I need the beer, which ever happens sooner. If the beer gets drunk in a short while, it won't get much yeast taste. There is a bit too much sediment in the keg, so the first and last glasses get a bit yeasty, but the rest is fine.
