Hello, I can see that Heikki mails in english so
I`ll do the same as my written danish is at best - poor.
I`ve recently returned to home brewing after an
absence of about 10 years. Only this time round I`ve gone "all
grain". I can`t believe how much fun it is the only problem is where to buy all
the gear. I know about brygladen, and that it is possible to buy malt and hops
from the new brew pub, but I really expected that vin og øl hobby(you know that
crap shop on godhåbsvej) would have evolved over the years. Sadly they don`t
sell grains or hops, the two most fundamental ingredients(apart from water) of
beer, they have 1 yeast for beer brewing and very little equipment.
The last time I was in the shop 3 people asked
about hops, the reply was that they didn`t stock it - no explanation as to why-
but they had hop extract. I can`t believe that we were the first three people to
ask about hops. Does anyone know why they are so bad?
