I have also seen Red Chimay been advertised as a tripple, and some
other dark ones. The whole dubbel/trippel terminology seems to be
somewhat fluid and ill-defined, like so much else in the beer business.
But you are right, a paler sugar would probably be more in line withthe
most typical trippels.

Never mind, it will be a tripple anyway ;-)
