Objection, yer 'onner! I have a 19 liter pot on a "ceramic" el-stove, and it works quite well. My stove could be a touch more powerfull, as I need to keep the lid on while raising the temperature, but can maintain a steady boil with the lid off. As I have lamented here before, cheap pots tend to have uneven bottoms, and such do *not* work very well on those newmodern glass-ceramic stoves. As to capacity, 20 liter pot is a bit small, but with the help of another pot I can easily make a single-keg batch. For double batches I have to boil in two (or more) parts. That takes a longer time, but works all right, and opens up for some possibilities, like using the same hops for finishing, aroma, and bittering... -H -- Heikki Levanto "In Murphy We Turst" heikki (at) lsd (dot) dk
