Heikki's low-tech solution: You need - 1 party keg, empty - 1 bucket, large - 6 plastic bags, without holes - 1 brick, or other suitably heavy stone 1) Fill a plastic bag halfway with water. Tie a good knot. 2) Place in the bottom of your bucket 3) Carefully balance the party keg over this plastic bag 4) Fill the remaining plastic bags with water, and tie off. 5) Carefully place them on all sides of the party keg. 6) Place the brick on top of the keg, to keep it down. 7) Put the whole bucket into your freezer. In these winter times, you may be able to use the large outdoors freezer. 8) When the water bags are frozen, remove the brick, and carefully juggle your empty keg out. Place a full keg in its place. 9) Wait a little while. 10) now you have a party keg full of cold beer. 11) if the beer gets too cold, carefully remove one or more ice bags. In extreme cases, remove the whole keg from the bucket. 12) Sample the beer often to keep it a a proper temperature. -- Heikki Levanto "In Murphy We Turst" heikki (at) lsd (dot) dk _______________________________________________ Brygforum mailing list [email protected] http://www.haandbryg.dk/mailman/listinfo/brygforum To get off the list, send a blank mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Frameld fra listen, send en tom mail til [EMAIL PROTECTED]
