NetBSD has sh, ksh (from pdksh and uses a lot of code from OpenBSD) and
csh (not tcsh).
sh and csh are as ubiquitous as vi. Also all the other shells, in very simple (incorrect) terms, build off of these two shells so it only makes sense to use only sh and csh for testing.
