It would be much better that the guides be available first. Also to Evan, In my country there were questions to BSD mailinglists about BSD certifications. Just to give an example http://www.sharma-home.net/pipermail/bsd-india/2005-February/003539.html you couls also see the reply to the thread. http://www.sharma-home.net/pipermail/bsd-india/2005-February/003540.html basically that assumption comes because many think BSD to be the geek OS who think only geeks who shun the idea of things like certification use/can use it. Its not so and in reality Certification helps a company as well as the certified induvidual to prove his/her proficency in BSD. Actually we were planning to start Training and Certification in BSDs on our own and suddenly the BSD Certification initative came up. So we thought we would join up with it wich would be more fruitful :-) Regarding the No. 19 in your poll, I think its far too small. maybe if you had put the question.
