what is the behavior you changed it to?

the apl2 line editor uses '-' for line ranges  [⎕2-10]   is [2⎕10] edit line 2 
at position 10?

btw what is the different  https://github.com/baruchel/APLedit   (i'm not sure 
i want to commit to having an .inputrc ;)
