Is there some trick that Bash needs to adopt to get groff to use HYPHEN-MINUS for \- when setting HTML or PDF? Your following .MT macro patch makes this particular text render correctly but this reminded me to ask about the general case, as e.g. `.B \-\-norc' is currently getting rendered in bash.html as `<b>−−norc</b>'
