I'm not sure I understand how you conclude that you have not been able to uninstall Ubuntu. It sounds like you could well have erased the contents of your disk to me. Indeed, as far as I understand what you said earlier, that's what you wanted to do. I'm not certain whether it was really a good idea for you to do that, but you could have done it, as you say. If your system does not boot correctly, perhaps this is because you have erased the operating system. > Care to explain what is causing this??? I'm sure you will understand if nobody is actually able to tell you what you have done to your own computer, when you didn't supply any real detail about what you did, what the result was, and generally didn't provide enough information for anybody to help you. We weren't there, so unless you tell us exactly what happened, we have no way to know. > Because if not, I will be contacting an Attorney on this issue due to > Malicious Software Lawsuit. And it will only go downhill from there. Well, I'm not sure why you decided to ask for help with your computer on this mailing list. In fact, if you could shed some light on why you asked here, we'd actually find that quite helpful. People often ask random things here by mistake, and we'd like to be able to provide more effective signposting that might help people realise that this might be the wrong place for their question. Well anyway, we (the coreutils mailing list) don't sell copies of or provide a support service for Ubuntu. You will probably have better luck if you ask on a mailing list which relates in some way to Ubuntu. There should be a URL on your installation CD, that should be a good starting point. However, when you do so, you might want to phrase your plea for assistance in more moderate language. Thanks, James. _______________________________________________ Bug-coreutils mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-coreutils
