As a user, I would have to agree with this. As someone who develops code, I
know how much of a pain it would be to fix since you couldn't rely on the
standard C libraries anymore. So, as a compromise, I'd say those who wish CVS
not to stumble on line ending issues wrto admin files should do the work and
submit a patch.
