I just ran ddrescue on an old but good disk and it stalled after 4 gig or so and could only be stopped by shutting off the computer. Running ddrescue a second time with the -n switch produced a good image without errors, so the disk seems to still be in good working order. Could this CTRL-C freezing behaviour be a program bug?
